Valley Bookies Club

Valley Bookies Book Club – Visit rural Ireland and meet the Ruttledges who have forsaken the glitter of London to raise sheep and cattle.  Our book club selection, “By the Lake” by John McGahern, allows a peek into a year of the lives of these villagers.  We will have a book discussion and refreshments Tuesday, December 13, at 6:45 p.m.  Books are available at the library or by ordering online through the VALNet catalog.
